OpenAI年龄验证误判台湾ID致27岁用户账号被删
原文:I’m 27. OpenAI misread my Taiwan ID issue date as my DOB, deleted my account as “under 13,” then rejected my appeal in ~5 minutes
OpenAI’s age-verification system mistook the issuance date on my Taiwanese ID for my birth date, even though I am 27. Jan 21: The system displayed my ID issuance date—September 5, 2014—as my birth date. (Image 1) Jan 24: My old account was deleted for supposedly being under 13. I appealed. (Image 2) Feb 20: Trust & Safety confirmed my appeal under reference C-Y8ukPo2ImOTz. After no response by Apr 28, I created a new account only to contact Support about the inaccessible old account. In Support Case 08247354, OpenAI acknowledged that my birth year had been misinterpreted during verification. (Image 3) I went through adult verification twice but received no completion confirmation. Aug 31: After following another verification instruction from Case 08247354, I resubmitted. About five minutes later, my old email received an unexplained decision upholding the deletion—with no reason or reference number. (Image 4) I need access to my old account restored after a real human reviews this evidence. Repeating the same automated forms is not resolving the error. Has anyone successfully reached a real person through another legitimate OpenAI contact or escalation method, other than the standard appeal forms and Help Center support loop? If an OpenAI employee sees this, please use Appeal C-Y8ukPo2ImOTz or Support Case 08247354 to locate my records and contact the email already associated with them. I will not send identity documents, credentials, verification codes, or payment through Reddit DMs. submitted by /u/Ok_Kaleidoscope_9721 [link] [comments]
